The criteria

We do not rank by price, since it changes daily. We picked places with few extras (no pool or spa) and at least an 8 score. For hostels we weighed the number of reviews: 500 comments say more than a 9.9 from twenty.

How to spend less in Jardín

  1. Go on weekdays: town fills up from Saturday to holiday Monday.
  2. Take the bus from the South Terminal instead of paying for parking.
  3. Pick a hostel with a kitchen and shop at the town market.
  4. Many things to do are free: the square, the walk up to Cristo Rey and the river pools.

The free plans are in things to do in Jardín and the bus details in getting there from Medellín.
