About HotelesEnJardin.com
Why there is a guide just for Jardín, which sources we use for every hotel and attraction, and how the site is paid for.

HotelesEnJardin.com started with one practical question: where to stay in Jardín, Antioquia, if you want to watch the cock-of-the-rock at 4:30 pm, set off early for Cueva del Esplendor or walk to the Cascada del Amor without a car. It is written by Julián Durango from Sabaneta.
How each page is built
Hotel reviews come from the public Booking.com listing checked on October 18, 2026: address, coordinates, highlighted amenities, score and number of reviews. We did not stay at these places and we do not pretend to. Distances to the main square are straight lines from the listing coordinates to the basilica.
For attractions we rely on whoever runs them: the Jardín de Rocas nature reserve for the cock-of-the-rock, the Cueva del Esplendor office, the town tourism portal, and regional press when there is news, such as the August 2026 earthquake that affected the basilica. Every page ends with its sources.
How it is funded
Booking buttons go to Booking.com through a CJ affiliate link. If you book, Booking.com pays us a commission and you pay the same. No hotel pays to be listed or to rank higher. Details in the affiliate disclosure.
Julián Durango Gallego has worked in SEO for more than a decade and is based in Sabaneta. The natural way out of Sabaneta toward southwest Antioquia is the same road the buses from Medellín's South Terminal take to Jardín, through Amagá and the Troncal del Café. This guide does not describe trips that never happened: it brings together what Booking.com listings, the Cueva del Esplendor nature reserve, the Jardín de Rocas reserve, the town hall and outlets such as Blu Radio or Telemedellín publish, always linked. If something changes, it gets fixed. His personal site is juliandurango.com.
If you work in tourism in Jardín and spot something outdated, write via contact and we will check it.
